Our biggest selling heat transfer garment vinyl is Hotflex Ultra. It is a great product for making t-shirts, polo shirts, sweat shirts etc, as shown in this video. Using heat transfer garment vinyl

The blue sign vinyl used in this clip is Hot Flex Ultra. This can be found on our website and in our brochure. This material is suitable for use on cotton, polyester or cotton/polyester mix. The video demonstration shows that the regular vinyl signmaker does not use application paper, as the vinyl graphic remains on the backing sheet, and is flipped over prior to pressing. Guidance on the best temperatures and pressing times can be found on the product pages of our site at  www.thevinylcorporation.co.uk. This is provided for a range of materials. However if you need more specific information then please call The Vinyl Corporation on 0115 930 1133.

Applying Vinyl Wall Stickers

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

In this video made by The Binary Box we see how to apply a vinyl wall sticker. The Binary Box have been a long term customer and have enjoyed the cost effective products and free technical advice offered by The Vinyl Corporation (TVC).

Choosing your sign vinyl

For wall stickers and graphics, it is recommended to use the matt Rimark sign vinyl, or for an easier to use material AVERY 500 matt sign vinyl is cut and weeded, then flip the graphic over and a sheet of (Q-TAPE clear textured) application tape is removed and applied to the front of the graphic, with the use of an Avery-Pro Felt Squeegee, the backing paper is removed and adhesive side of the graphic is offered up to the wall, smoothed down and the Q-TAPE removed, leaving a job WELL DONE!

How to apply sign vinyl decals

SIGN VINYL
This video shows how to add sign vinyl decals to a flat surface. This shows how easy it is!
The self adhesive vinyl seen in the demonstration is of the type sold by The Vinyl Corporation for signwriting vehicles, shop fascia or other substrates. A squeegee (gold 3M) is used in this case to apply the sign vinyl to the surface. For the fitting of larger decals, a wet application might be more appropriate. This technique is described in the Vinyl Fitting Instructions section of our website or if further advice is required then by contacting 0115 930 1133 our designated helpline.
