What are your opening hours?

The Vinyl Corporation shop opening hours are as follows:

Monday: 9am – 5pm

Tuesday: 9am – 5pm

Wednesday: 9am – 5pm

Thursday: 9am – 5pm

Friday: 9am – 5pm

Saturday: Closed

Sunday: Closed

 

You can order from our online shop 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Where are you located, and do you have a Trade counter?

We are based just off Junction 26 of the M1 in Nottingham, where we do have a Trade Counter to collect goods, we do have some “Specials” and clearance stock on display at the Trade counter.
We also have an “Out of hours” late collection point, all items must be pre paid for before being placed in this facility.

Which vinyl do you recommend we use for Wall Art designs?

We always recommend a cost effective Matt Vinyl for Wall Art designs, such as RI-Mark Ritrama matt vinyl or Avery 500 series matt vinyl. How do I remove cast reflective vinyl that has been stuck on a British Gas van for 10 years?

Warm the surface of the vehicle, with a heat gun or hair dryer ( put it in a bodyshop oven if possible) this will soften the adhesive, then apply RAPID REMOVER , then using the QR tool start scraping the corner of the reflective vinyl decal and get the plastic scraper blade under the graphic, between the decal and the vehicle bodywork and with liberal use of Rapid Remover the adhesive should yield and then it is just a matter of removing the residue from the bodywork.

Do you supply Window tinting film?

Yes, we supply a full range of all the different shades of vehicle and office tinting, in various widths from light grey to Limo black and silver.

We also supply a wide range of other window films, from transparent vinyl ( looks like stained glass) translucent vinyl ( for backlit window displays and lightboxes) window etch effect vinyl ( as the KFC window logo) is also available

Can I produce t-shirt slogans and hen night t-shirts on my cutting machine?

Yes, you can produce t-shirt slogans and hen night t-shirts on a cutting machine along with creating other personalised t-shirts. we have hot flex ultra garment vinyl, which can be cut on your cutting machine and then heat pressed onto a t-shirt, hoodie or other garments. The Hot Flex Ultra is the perfect t-shirt vinyl roll to create personalised t-shirts. It is available in a variety of colours including chrome foil and gold foil. Hot Flex Ultra can be washed, tumble dried and dry cleaned.

Can you supply different width vinyl stripes in different colours for boat graphics

Yes, we can supply different width vinyl and we recommend a good quality vinyl with a marine adhesive is used for this type of application. The ORACAL 751 cast vinyl film is the perfect choice for marine graphics as it is fire retardant and has self extinguishing qualities; it is a solvent based polyacrylic permanent adhesive vinyl. The high quality cast vinyl film is ideal for vehicle and marine graphics. We have the Oracal 751 Cast Vinyl Film available in a large variety of colours sizes and roll size. We can cut it to any width and length for your project.

What should I use to cover my kitchen cupboard doors? I want to make them shiny, glossy white

For a good adhesion and good coverage white gloss vinyl we recommend the Ritrama Ri Mark Economy Gloss White vinyl. This Gloss Vinyl has permanent acrylic adhesive with excellent water resistance which is perfect for kitchen cupboards. They are easy to apply and clean, giving you the best results. The Ri-Mark Economy Gloss Sign Vinyl comes in a range of sizes from 305mm to 1220mm, with a roll size of 5 metres to 50 metres. Do I need an account ? and do you have a minimum order value?

No you do not need an account, even though we are a trade wholesaler. the only minimum order is 5 meters on standard colours, on speciality films you can buy ONE meter – all we require is payment on credit or debit card, or bank transfer – ALL goods must be paid for in full before they are shipped.

Do you take PayPal?

Yes, The Vinyl Corporation accept PayPal payments along with most other forms of payment including American Express. We do not charge commission on any payments made. If you have a PayPal account you are able to use it to make payments on our website. Select PayPal as your chosen payment method at checkout and enter your account information.
